Meet Apollo
Me: How did you start getting into making music?
Apollo: It was an escape for me. Long before I decided to start making my own which was about 3 months ago. It’s my hope, hype, and sadness. Some case which helped me deal with certain situations growing up.
How would you describe your style of music?
Bazerko with a mixture of in my feeling broken hearted. It’s only been three months so we’ll see how it evolves.
What was it like making your first song on the new album?
First one I made was Villain. It’s on this album which is the first I’ve ever created and released.
How would you describe your music in one word to someone who's never listened before?
Oh Lord E
Nice! And, who are some artists you would like to work one day in the distant or near future?
Anybody willing to work with me. I’m hungry and want to give this a real try. Like I said, I can live with failure, I cannot live without trying.
Always gotta have that hunger! Do your friends & family support your pursuit of making music?
Not exactly. I’ve kept everything under the wraps (pun intended). Unfortunately, you get more support from people who don’t know you.
Where does your stage name originate from?
Apollo is an acronym - All People On Love Levels Only
That’s awesome! What are some other talents & hobbies outside of music that some may not know about you?
I started an auction house with my best friend about 6 years ago dealing in precious metal.
What does a world without music look like in your imagination?
Hell.
Are there any future plans or collaborations on the way we should expect?
Right now it’s just a hobby. I’m proud of what I’ve created being my first album, but unless it gains traction I won’t make any big decisions. Travis Scott, Big Krit, Lil Baby & DaBaby
Is there any advice you would give to someone who is thinking about getting into music?
Details, solid mic, solid engineer.
Any Final Words For The People?
I feel like music has strayed away from the dancing and getting down like it once was. Lots of mumble rappers with minimal substance in their songs. My question is, when will we get back to real music?
